Play seems to be more widespread in the animal kingdom than we thought, with octopuses and hyenas all spending time mucking about – but what’s the point?”. This was an illustration spread over two pages, so I tried to have one leading into the other, with echoes of the famous ‘evolution of man/ape’ diagram.
